Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy (ranked 2990 p4p, 2885 weight class) and Ville Valo (ranked 159 p4p, 150 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Boy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ville Valo!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Ville Valo has been cut.
Valo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boy.
Boy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Valo.
Valo moves out of range of the strikes.
Valo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Boy. Valo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Boy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Valo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boy.
Valo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Boy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Boy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Valo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Valo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Valo's head backwards.
Boy missing with a left hand there. Valo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Valo throws a fast counter high kick but Boy manages to duck under it in time.
Boy misses with a right hand

and Valo counters with a left and a right that hurts Boy! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Valo jumps into full mount!
Boy is working to get back to half guard.

Boy is rocked!

It looks like Big Boy has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Boy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Boy seems to have got his legs back now.

Boy is wriggling around trying to escape.
Boy slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Valo is just content to waste time from the top position. Boy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Boy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Valo is aware though and is defending well.
Boy has Valo pulled in close to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boy is on top in guard.

Boy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Boy works over Valo with some ground and pound from guard.
Boy wants to get up but he can't break Valo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Valo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Boy defends it easily.
Boy throws a big elbow that misses.
Boy wants to pass the guard but Valo is keeping the position.
Boy advances to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Boy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Valo tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.
Valo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Valo!

Boy tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Big Boy dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Boy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Valo.
Valo ducks under a wild hook from Boy.
Boy lands a nice shot to the body.

Boy clinches with his opponent.
Boy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Valo can do to turn this around?
Boy tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Valo's elbow.

Boy digs a right hand into Valo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Valo's gas tank.

Boy gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Boy lands a big right hand that drops Valo! The killer instinct kicks in and Boy finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Boy!
