Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Landon McGuire (ranked 642 p4p, 674 weight class) and Ben Reed (ranked 93 p4p, 100 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - When Legends Rise. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Landon McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Reed!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed throws a push kick but McGuire slaps the foot to one side.

Reed has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Landon McGuire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Reed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McGuire is working Reed over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGuire has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGuire and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
