Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Anderson (ranked 4 p4p, 7 weight class) and Andrei Kersikov (ranked 1 p4p, 2 weight class). Anderson comes into the arena with Bassically by Tei Shi blaring out of the sound system. Kersikov has chosen Head of the Table as his entrance music. Noah Anderson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noah Anderson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrei Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kersikov is looking to land body kicks.
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Kersikov moves out of range easily.
Anderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kersikov swings away with a body shot that misses
and Anderson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Anderson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kersikov eats them both and turns towards Anderson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Andrei Kersikov has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson defending well as Kersikov loads up on a big left hand.
Anderson is looking to counter with a body kick.
Anderson misses with a shot to the body
and Kersikov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Noah Anderson has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson throws a hook to the side of Kersikov's head but Kersikov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kersikov wants to counter the offense by Anderson and move into the clinch position.
Kersikov avoids the body shot from Anderson.
Anderson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight.
Anderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kersikov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Anderson with a body shot.
Kersikov moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Anderson swings widly with a right hand
and Kersikov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kersikov misses with a right hand
and Anderson counters with a straight right hand.
Anderson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kersikov throws a sloppy body shot
and Anderson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kersikov thinking.
Kersikov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Anderson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Anderson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kersikov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anderson.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A solid body kick from Kersikov.
Anderson throws a sloppy body shot
and Kersikov counters with a solid body kick.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Kersikov lands a brutal uppercut that launches Anderson off his feet! Anderson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andrei Kersikov!
