Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lenny King (ranked 452 p4p, 604 weight class) and Fred Schneider (ranked 60 p4p, 78 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Lenny King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fred Schneider's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny King! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Fred Schneider! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schneider throws a body shot but no joy. It looked like King wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Schneider tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Schneider. Schneider slips a jab and a cross from King.
Schneider is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schneider. King is looking to counter punch. King connects with a jab. King lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Schneider misses. We've been told by King's head coaches at Ironopolis that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Lenny King has been cut. Schneider misses with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. King feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schneider sprawling to the canvas! Schneider rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can King finish him?!
Schneider is rocked!
It looks like Fred Schneider has been cut. King swats away the attempt to clinch by Schneider. Schneider throws a right hand that misses
and King counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Schneider out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! King is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lenny King! Lenny King retains his heavyweight title! A relieved looking Lenny King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
