Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russian Bear (ranked 2484 p4p, 2631 weight class) and Jean Luc Picard (ranked 283 p4p, 301 weight class). Picard has chosen Cypress Hill - How I Could Just Kill A Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Russian Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Luc Picard! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Picard moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bear throws a combination that misses and Picard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bear looks to score with a jab to the body but Picard is just out of range. As Bear backs off Picard throws a huge counter combo but Bear manages to avoid it all. Picard tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Picard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bear throws a predictable looking body shot
and Picard counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Bear swings widly with a right hand
and Picard counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bear shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Picard as he avoids it easily. Bear throws a big shot that misses. Bear throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Picard's waist but Picard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bear off to one side. Bear fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Picard avoids it really well and circles away. Picard throws out a counter right but Bear avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Russian Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear is looking to clinch but Picard is avoiding it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Picard knocks Bear to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Bear is rocked!
It looks like Russian Bear has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Picard working away. Oh Bear is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Picard stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Picard swivels and escapes. Bear looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Picard throws a quick head kick that knocks Bear silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Picard is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jean Luc Picard! During a confident post fight interview, Jean Luc Picard thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
