Medeiros's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sidequest - Chime. Ryhein is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Boys of Summer (Eurobeat). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medeiros shoots in for a takedown but Ryhein shows good takedown defense.
Medeiros fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Aljosa Medeiros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Medeiros lands a nice hook to Ryhein's body. Ryhein takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ryhein throws a sloppy head kick and Medeiros moves out of range easily.

Medeiros throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ryhein was covering up waiting for the punch and Medeiros finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Ryhein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Medeiros can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Medeiros lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Ryhein is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Medeiros is aware though and is defending well.
Medeiros is in close to Ryhein's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Medeiros wants to control from the top but Ryhein keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ryhein has his foot on Medeiros's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Medeiros works his way back into a safe position though.

Ryhein is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Medeiros has his hands clasped together but Ryhein extends and breaks Medeiros's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ryhein.
