Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clarence Hoost!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gothic Line!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Line throws a jab but it's blocked by Hoost.
A quick step to the side and Hoost tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Line just misses with a punch to the body.
A big right from Line misses.
Hoost is looking to counter with a body kick.
Line's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hoost connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Line scrambles back to his feet.
Hoost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hoost scores with a kick to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Line looks to land a right hand but Hoost moved out of range.
It looked like Hoost wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Line sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A telegraphed right hand from Line misses the target.
A little feinted left hand from Hoost on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hoost misses with a low kick.
Line throws a big counter head kick but Hoost avoids it with no problem.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hoost.
Line looks winded!
Hoost scores with a push kick.
Line uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hoost.
Line swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hoost throws a wild body kick that Line sees coming a mile off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoost keeps Line at a distance using the push kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Hoost scores with a jab.
Hoost ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hoost is looking to counter punch.
Hoost motions for Line to come forward. Hoost throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hoost is looking to land body kicks.
Line looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hoost keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Line throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoost sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hoost appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Line misses with a lunging right hand
and Hoost connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hoost misses with an uppercut.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Line! But no joy.

Hoost cracks Line with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hoost has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Line to stand back up!
Hoost takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoost avoids the head kick by Line.
Line misses with a hook.
Hoost looks to land a right hand but Line moved out of range.
Hoost is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hoost punishes Line's body with a nice straight punch.
Line on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hoost pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Clarence Hoost dominated that round.
That's time! Hoost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Hoost cracks Line with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Line looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hoost finish him?
Line throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoost sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A jab from Line misses.
Hoost half committed to a counter leg kick.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Line might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Hoost has got the better of the exchanges.
Hoost avoids the head kick by Line.
Hoost appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Clarence Hoost is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice defenses there by Hoost.
An attempted straight right counter from Hoost misses the target.
A shot to the body from Line misses
and Hoost makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Line really felt that one!

Line misses with a hook
and Hoost counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hoost steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Line.
Hoost swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Line tries a head kick but it misses.
Hoost throws a quick counter kick to the body but Line avoids it.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Line in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Hoost feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Line sprawling to the canvas! Line rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hoost finish him?!

Line is rocked!
Hoost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Line is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoost finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hoost connects with a body shot.
Line seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hoost lands a front kick.
Line is breathing heavily.
Hoost moves in close and cracks Line with a massive right hand! Line, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Hoost!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clarence Hoost!
Clarence Hoost retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Clarence Hoost thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
