Mandiang is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Oliver Twist. Aboubacar Mandiang acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Dancer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aboubacar Mandiang!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandiang sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Mandiang swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mandiang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dancer under the eye.
Mandiang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dancer.
Mandiang throws a sloppy head kick and Dancer moves out of range easily.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mandiang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dancer - the referee stops the clock and Mandiang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dancer. Mandiang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Dancer throws a hook to the side of Mandiang's head but Mandiang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tom Dancer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dancer throws out a loose jab but Mandiang uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Mandiang counters with a nice right hand that sends Dancer toppling to the canvas! Dancer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mandiang finish him?!

Mandiang throws an uppercut from hell that sends Dancer clean off his feet! He's out cold! Mandiang stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
