Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Orel (ranked 2660 p4p, 1125 weight class) and Raymond Lee (ranked 395 p4p, 180 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Orel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Raymond Lee! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Orel enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Orel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Orel wants to stand up but Lee is controlling him. Lee throws an elbow that misses. Orel uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lee's guard. Nice move by Orel! Lee pulls Orel in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee is working an open guard so Orel takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Orel misses with a wild combination.
Orel drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Orel looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee misses with a straight left. Orel throws a sloppy body shot
and Lee counters with a single leg into guard. Orel didn't expect that. Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Lee trying to control but Orel is working from the bottom. Lee prevents Orel from getting back to his feet. Lee wants to pass the guard but Orel is keeping the position. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Orel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Orel looks to throw the jab but Lee is out of range. Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Orel is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Orel circles away and we're back to standing. Orel misses with a body shot.
Lee shoots in but no luck this time. Orel misses with a wild body shot. Lee dives in for a single leg takedown but Orel sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Adam Orel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Lee. Orel goes for a double leg but Lee avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lee continues to drive forward. Lee has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Orel after a bit of a struggle. Orel breaks the clinch.
Orel with a nice cross. Orel moves away from the strike by Lee. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Orel misses. Orel lands with a nice body punch.

Orel is looking to wear down Lee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lee scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Orel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A little feinted left hand from Orel on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Orel leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Orel jabbing away but nothing is landing. Orel misses with a series of wild punches.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Adam Orel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orel ducks under a wild hook from Lee. Orel lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Donk. Lee catches Orel right on the button with a cross. Orel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Orel. Orel shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lee punishes Orel's body with a nice straight punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Orel throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Orel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A telegraphed right hand from Orel misses the target. Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Orel is retaining full guard. Lee content to stall in guard here. Orel keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adam Orel will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Adam Orel is winning the standup battle so far. Orel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lee. Lee slips a straight right by Orel. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Orel moves away. Lee lunges at Orel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Orel's hand. Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orel. Lee lands with an uppercut that bounces Orel off the cage and back into range. Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Orel takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Orel does a little dance to reset his feet. Orel misses with a wild body shot. Orel jabs Lee right on the nose. Lee blinks but takes it well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nice defenses there by Orel.

Orel uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee. Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee. Orel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it. Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Orel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Orel thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Orel punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch. Lee connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Orel's hands. Lee works the jab nicely.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Orel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Orel swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lee. Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Adam Orel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raymond Lee. Orel looks to land a left hand but Lee moved out of range nicely. Orel slips under a jab. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around? Orel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that's the end of the fight! Adam Orel showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Orel, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
