The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lingfield takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Lingfield closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kluba quickly recovers to half guard.
Kluba throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Lingfield thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kluba's head.
Lingfield is keen to just control but Kluba is a slippery customer.
Kluba is looking for a sweep. Lingfield is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lingfield seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kluba is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kluba tries to keep at a distance but Lingfield has taken the fight into the clinch.
Lingfield changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kluba fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kluba lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lingfield circles away quickly and effectively.

Lingfield fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kluba, pushing him back against the cage.

Lingfield keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kluba's efforts to push away.
Kluba wants to break free but Lingfield has control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lingfield connects with a nice short shot to Kluba's temple.

Lingfield is nestled in close to Kluba, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lingfield uses his free foot to push down on Kluba's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kluba.
