Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Wick (ranked 1939 p4p, 334 weight class) and Nelson Biederman (ranked 241 p4p, 44 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Biederman's choice of entrance music: Move This. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Wick!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Biederman!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biederman throws a big shot that misses.
Wick darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Nelson Biederman has been cut.
Wick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wick appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Wick on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Biederman. Biederman obviously looking to wear him down.
The fighters circling - Wick throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Biederman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Biederman wants to clinch up but Wick keeps it at a distance.
Wick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wick scores with a sloppy right hand. Biederman should have avoided that one.

Biederman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Biederman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Wick wants to stand and escape but Biederman is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Biederman wants to pass the guard but Wick is keeping the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Biederman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Wick keeping moving, preventing Biederman from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Biederman throws a strike but Wick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Wick trying to control the position from guard on top but Biederman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wick is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Biederman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Biederman is working an open guard so Wick takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Biederman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Biederman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Biederman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Wick pushes Biederman off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Good shot there by Biederman.
Wick misses with a body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wick wants to clinch but Biederman slips to the side
and Biederman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Biederman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Wick kicks Biederman off and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Biederman pushes Wick up against the cage in a clinch.
Wick working hard to break the clinch.
Wick blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wick misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Biederman counter with a right hand.
Biederman misses with a series of wild punches.
Wick fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Biederman looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A cross from Biederman lands.
Wick checks a leg kick nicely.
Biederman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Biederman sizes up Wick with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Biederman cracks Wick with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Wick is rocked!
John Wick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BOOM! Biederman lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wick. Wick tries to recover but Biederman is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wick lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nelson Biederman!

During a confident post fight interview, Nelson Biederman thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
