Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pyay Thuta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Artemis Entreri!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Entreri connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Decent striking displayed by Entreri there.
Entreri throws a looping overhand right but Thuta ducks down to avoid it.
Entreri lands with a cross.
Thuta motions for Entreri to come forward. Thuta throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Entreri looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Entreri throws a predictable looking body shot
and Thuta counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A punch lands to the side of Thuta 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Entreri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Entreri throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Entreri throws a poor cross that misses
and Entreri takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Entreri throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thuta on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A decent looking cross lands there for Thuta.
Thuta leaves his chin hanging out and Entreri seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Thuta crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Artemis Entreri!
After the fight, Artemis Entreri was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
