The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick misses with a left hand

Quick tries to work over Thibodeaux's front leg with a kick but Thibodeaux checks it.

Quick cracks Thibodeaux with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Thibodeaux is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Thibodeaux is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Quick throws a lazy uppercut

and Thibodeaux counters quickly with a head kick that drops Quick to the mat! The referee starts the count at 3 - will Quick be able to get back to his feet in time? 4,5,6, he's up. He looks OK so we'll continue the action!
A shot to the body from Quick misses
and Thibodeaux counters with a nice low kick that buckles Quick's knee momentarily.
Thibodeaux blocks a head kick by Quick.
Thibodeaux tries to counter by clinching up but Quick breaks away and moves out of range.
Quick fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thibodeaux manages to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Thibodeaux on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Thibodeaux counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Thibodeaux with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Quick to score with a decent uppercut.

Quick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Thibodeaux checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Thibodeaux is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

and Thibodeaux counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Quick has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
