Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Wesley Taurus (ranked 5358 p4p, 2421 weight class) and Mehdi Kanaani (ranked 543 p4p, 324 weight class). Taurus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Kanaani is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg - Nuthin' But A G Thang. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taurus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kanaani manages to avoid it.

Taurus is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Kanaani throws a hook to the side of Taurus's head but Taurus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A combination from Taurus does no damage.
Kanaani lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Taurus lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kanaani's sensitive parts.
Taurus misses with a looping right.
Kanaani scores with a punch to the head.
Kanaani just misses with a punch to the body.
Kanaani catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Taurus stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Taurus walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Oh Taurus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kanaani throws a hook but Taurus avoids it easily.

Kanaani throws out a loose jab but Taurus uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kanaani connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Taurus's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Taurus - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
