The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez lands a nice shot that snaps Mfer's head back.
Mfer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've been told by Mfer's head coaches at Räkälä that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lopez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mfer drops Lopez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lopez looks back up at him and smiles so Mfer waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lopez is rocked!
Mfer moves in close and cracks Lopez with a massive right hand! Lopez, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Mfer!
