Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 2032 p4p, 1527 weight class) and Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 85 p4p, 56 weight class). Mandiang has chosen Oliver Twist as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Aboubacar Mandiang!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandiang scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kerr in his tracks.
Kerr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mandiang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mandiang prevents Kerr from moving into mount.
Kerr trying to control the position but Mandiang is working away.
Kerr is chipping away with strikes.
Kerr in side control, throwing shots but Mandiang defends.
Kerr goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Mandiang rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kerr's guard! Nice work there by Mandiang!
Mandiang wants to stand but Kerr has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mandiang preventing the sweep.
Kerr has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Mandiang has passed into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kerr wants to control but Mandiang postures up.
Kerr is looking to regain half guard here but Mandiang keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kerr is working hard here to advance position.
Mandiang stands up and beckons Kerr to his feet.
Kerr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kerr or perhaps it was just good defense by Mandiang, which made it look bad.
Kerr doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kerr fails with the takedown.
Mandiang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kerr takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mandiang swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kerr.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mandiang lands a head shot.
Mandiang throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mandiang punishes Kerr's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mandiang works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kerr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mandiang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mandiang scores with a head kick.
Kerr takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mandiang connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kerr's hands.
Mark Kerr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mandiang throws a nice head kick!
Kerr is rocked!
Kerr drops his hands momentarily and Mandiang needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kerr just on the top of the head. Kerr drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kerr - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Aboubacar Mandiang!
After winning the bout, Aboubacar Mandiang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
