Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Otso Toivonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jett Fletcher!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fletcher avoids the body shot from Toivonen.
Fletcher has his takedown stuffed

and Toivonen counters with a big uppercut that knocks Fletcher off his feet! Toivonen dives into side control looking to finish!

Fletcher is rocked!
Toivonen tries to stand but Fletcher is controlling his head.
Fletcher looking for a sweep but Toivonen has passed into full mount! Oh no!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Toivonen throws some wild stikes that Fletcher manages to avoid easily.
Toivonen looking to ground and pound but Fletcher is blocking nicely.
Toivonen tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

Fletcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toivonen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Toivonen is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Toivonen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Toivonen tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Toivonen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fletcher bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Fletcher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fletcher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Toivonen counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Toivonen.
Fletcher wants to stall.
Fletcher tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Toivonen avoids it.

Toivonen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fletcher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Toivonen pinned against the cage. Toivonen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Toivonen is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Fletcher fails with the takedown

and Toivonen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fletcher! Toivonen lets Fletcher back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fletcher is still on wobbly legs! Can Toivonen finish him?
Otso Toivonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jett Fletcher.
Horrible takedown attempt by Fletcher or perhaps it was just good defense by Toivonen, which made it look bad.
Fletcher seems to have recovered his senses.

Fletcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Toivonen counters with a huge right that knocks Fletcher out cold! Toivonen is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
