Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nakagome Kakuzo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dujardin throws a right hand that misses
and Dujardin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dujardin throws a jab when Kakuzo was well out of range.
Kakuzo throws a jab when Dujardin was well out of range.
Dujardin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kakuzo looks to land a left hand but Dujardin moved out of range nicely.
Kakuzo doesn't manage to clinch there - Dujardin circles away.
A slow jab from Dujardin misses its intended target.
Kakuzo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kakuzo takes the fight into the clinch.
Kakuzo is trying to pull guard but Dujardin has him pressed against the cage.
Kakuzo throws a punch but it's blocked by Dujardin.
Dujardin tightens his grip and picks Kakuzo up, before dumping him to the ground. Kakuzo manages to land in guard.
Dujardin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kakuzo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dujardin is looking to defend but Kakuzo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dujardin! Kakuzo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dujardin taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nakagome Kakuzo!
