Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otso Toivonen (ranked 2499 p4p, 24013 weight class) and Darius Frank Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darius Frank Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Otso Toivonen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Darius Frank Jr! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frank Jr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Toivonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Frank Jr. Toivonen loads up on a big right hand but Frank Jr slips the punch. As Toivonen backs off Frank Jr throws a huge counter combo but Toivonen manages to avoid it all. Frank Jr clinches. Frank Jr wants to take the fight to the mat but Toivonen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Toivonen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toivonen breaks the clinch.
Toivonen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Toivonen misses with a wild combination.
Despite the aggression on Frank Jr's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toivonen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Darius Frank Jr has been cut. Frank Jr rushes Toivonen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Toivonen takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. A short uppercut from Toivonen. Frank Jr drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Toivonen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Toivonen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crunch! Frank Jr slams his shin into Toivonen's torso. Toivonen swings away with a body shot that misses
and Frank Jr counters with a good, hard body kick but Toivonen shrugs it off. Frank Jr moves into the clinch successfully.
Frank Jr looking for a takedown. Otso Toivonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Frank Jr. A short right from Toivonen on the inside. Toivonen prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toivonen lands on the inside with an uppercut. Frank Jr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Toivonen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Frank Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Toivonen circles away.
A quick step to the side and Toivonen tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Darius Frank Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Frank Jr is looking to clinch. Toivonen circles away from the clinch attempt and Toivonen counters with a nice kick to the body. Frank Jr throws a head kick that Toivonen semi-blocks.
It looks like Otso Toivonen has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frank Jr tries to clinch up but Toivonen circles away and keeps his distance. Toivonen was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Frank Jr throws a lazy head kick and Toivonen counters with a lovely straight right hand! Toivonen connects with an inside leg kick. Toivonen keeps the fight on the outside. Frank Jr wants to clinch up but Toivonen keeps it at a distance. Frank Jr forces Toivonen back against the cage and clinches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frank Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Toivonen throws a body shot but no joy. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Otso Toivonen dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Toivonen swats away the attempt to clinch by Frank Jr. Frank Jr tries to clinch but Toivonen is having none of it. As Frank Jr looks to move away, Toivonen throws a big counter combo but Frank Jr just gets out of the way. Frank Jr closes the distance but Toivonen moves to the side and Toivonen counters with a right hand to the body. Otso Toivonen is winning the standup battle so far. Toivonen throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Frank Jr tumbling to the canvas! Toivonen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Frank Jr is proving hard to escape from. Frank Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Toivonen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Frank Jr wants to stand and escape but Toivonen is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toivonen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Frank Jr is trying to control the position but Toivonen postures up. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Toivonen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Frank Jr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Toivonen defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Toivonen tries to stand but Frank Jr is controlling from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Toivonen cracks a nice hook into Frank Jr's ribs. Toivonen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Frank Jr at a distance.
Toivonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank Jr is just out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Toivonen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Toivonen steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Frank Jr is out on his feet! Toivonen sets himself and nearly takes Frank Jr's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Otso Toivonen! A relieved looking Otso Toivonen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
