Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tory Hopkins (ranked 2237 p4p, 2866 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 311 p4p, 376 weight class). Hopkins comes to the cage accompanied by Last Time That I Checc'd by Nipsey Hussle & YG. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tory Hopkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopkins checks a leg kick. Duggan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hopkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Jim Duggan has been cut. Hopkins takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hopkins bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Duggan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hopkins. Hopkins throws a body punch but Duggan moves out of range. Hopkins throws a push kick but Duggan slaps the foot to one side. Duggan lands with a right hand. Hopkins misses with an uppercut. Hopkins takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Hopkins throws a chopping leg kick but Duggan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Duggan is looking to clinch. Duggan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hopkins's waist but Hopkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duggan off to one side. Hopkins half committed to a counter leg kick. A chopping leg kick lands by Duggan. The fighters circling - Hopkins throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hopkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hopkins tries to score with a low kick but Duggan moves his leg out of the way. Hopkins lunges at Duggan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Duggan's hand. Duggan misses with a body shot.
Hopkins throws a hook to the side of Duggan's head but Duggan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hopkins connects with the punch. Hopkins throws a quick inside leg kick. Duggan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Duggan throws the kick towards the body but Hopkins avoids it. Hopkins half committed to a counter leg kick. Duggan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Duggan tries to clinch up but Hopkins circles away and keeps his distance. Duggan digs a good body shot into Hopkins's ribs. Duggan works Hopkins's body with a nice hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duggan connects with an inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duggan looks to land a combination but Hopkins avoids it well. An attempted straight right counter from Hopkins misses the target. Hopkins takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Duggan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Duggan tries to land a front kick but Hopkins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A little feinted left hand from Hopkins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Duggan scores with a kick to the midsection. Hopkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Duggan was well out of range. Poor timing from Hopkins. Duggan jabs at Hopkins's body. Duggan scores with a jab to the body. Hopkins takes one to the side of the head.
Duggan wants to clinch but Hopkins slips to the side enabling Hopkins to counter with a crisp jab. Hopkins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Duggan on the side of the head. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Duggan checks a leg kick. Duggan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Hopkins loads up on a big right hand but Duggan slips the punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hopkins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Jim Duggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duggan slips a straight right by Hopkins. Duggan misses with a wild body shot. Hopkins takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Duggan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hopkins avoids it really well and circles away. Duggan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nice jab there from Duggan. Duggan misses the body punch and Hopkins counters with a good low kick that Duggan was not able to check. Duggan tests Hopkins's chin there with a solid looking shot. Duggan throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duggan tries to work over Hopkins's front leg with a kick but Hopkins checks it. Duggan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A left lands for Hopkins. Hopkins misses with an uppercut. Hopkins moves out of range of the body kick. Duggan misses with a body shot.
Duggan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hopkins moves away. Duggan throws out a loose jab but Hopkins uses good head movement to avoid it. Hopkins is looking to counter punch. Duggan moves out of range as Hopkins strikes. Hopkins throws a leg kick but Duggan checks it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duggan swings and misses with a shot to the body enabling Hopkins to counter with a crisp jab. Hopkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Duggan. Duggan tries to counter with a clinch but Hopkins shakes him off and moves away. Duggan connects with a looping right hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Duggan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jim Duggan's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Hopkins chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hopkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hopkins misses with an uppercut. Duggan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopkins as he jumps to the side. Hopkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Duggan throws a leg kick which misses Hopkins's front leg but catches the back leg as Hopkins tries to avoid it. Hopkins scores with a leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duggan moves into the clinch. Duggan blocks an elbow strike from Hopkins.

Duggan with the inside leg kick. Hopkins throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Duggan's corner calls for a 1-2. Duggan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hopkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Duggan. The fighters circling - Duggan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Duggan throws a combination. Hopkins tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Duggan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Duggan with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hopkins is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. An inside leg kick from Duggan misses. Hopkins feinted there with a counter leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Duggan.
Tory Hopkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Duggan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hopkins checks it well. Duggan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Duggan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Duggan takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopkins lands with an uppercut that bounces Duggan off the cage and back into range. Duggan throws the left hand but Hopkins avoids the punch easily. Duggan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hopkins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hopkins throws a body punch but Duggan moves out of range. A jab lands there for Duggan. Duggan misses with a leg kick and Duggan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Duggan with a nice calf kick. Hopkins drops Duggan with a naaaaasty hook - Duggan is in real trouble here! Hopkins dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
