Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quebra Cranio (ranked 243 p4p, 400 weight class) and Ramone Rocksaw (ranked 32 p4p, 48 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranio steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rocksaw. That one must have hurt.
Rocksaw on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Rocksaw slips a straight right by Cranio.
Cranio slips under a jab.
Rocksaw throws a leg kick which misses Cranio's front leg but catches the back leg as Cranio tries to avoid it.
Cranio throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rocksaw moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cranio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rocksaw looks to land a right hand but Cranio moved out of range.
It looked like Cranio was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Rocksaw.

and Rocksaw counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Cranio has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Master Chai's Dojo in the buildup to the fight.
Rocksaw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cranio throws out the jab.
Rocksaw scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Rocksaw counters with a thumping low kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rocksaw. Cranio does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cranio throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cranio backing away here, and Rocksaw unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Cranio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rocksaw momentarily.

Cranio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Rocksaw wants to clinch up but Cranio keeps it at a distance.
Cranio tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rocksaw was well out of range. Poor timing from Cranio.

Cranio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rocksaw throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cranio tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rocksaw is in Cranio's guard.
