Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Higgins (ranked 447 p4p, 603 weight class) and D.D Panda (ranked 75 p4p, 96 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lou Higgins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, D.D Panda! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higgins misses with an uppercut. Panda saw that one coming. Panda tries to clinch up but Higgins circles away and keeps his distance. Panda drives through and clinches with Higgins against the cage.

Panda successfully pulls guard.
Panda pulls Higgins in close to his closed guard and prevents Higgins from doing any damage or advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higgins wants to stand but Panda has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Higgins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Panda tries to clinch up. An attempted straight right counter from Higgins misses the target. Higgins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Panda fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Higgins to the ground. Panda is now in Higgins's guard. Higgins wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Panda manages to pass to side control. Higgins tries to kick Panda off but Panda keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Panda controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Higgins manages to escape and get back to his feet! Panda ducks right into an uppercut from Higgins.
It looks like D.D Panda has been cut. Panda closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Higgins to the mat! Higgins manages to get full guard. Higgins wants to get back to his feet but Panda is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Panda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Panda won't allow Higgins to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panda looking to pass the guard. Panda won't allow Higgins to get back to his feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Higgins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Panda connects with the punch. Panda throws a body punch but Higgins moves out of range. Panda drives through with a takedown into guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
D.D Panda dominated that round. The cut man is working on D.D Panda's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Panda throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Higgins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Panda moves forwards but Higgins connects with a nice, crisp jab. Panda lands with a straight right. Higgins didn't see that one coming. Panda shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Higgins throws a head kick but Panda moves out of range.
Higgins fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Panda has taken the fight to the clinch.
Panda stalling in the clinch but Higgins improves position. Panda pushes Higgins back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A short left from Higgins. Panda tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Panda is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Higgins throws a punch but it's blocked by Panda.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panda is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Panda leaning against his opponent.
Panda has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Higgins seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Panda can turn it around. Panda tries to pull guard but Higgins holds him up against the cage and eventually Panda drops back down to his feet.
Higgins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Panda blocks an uppercut.
Panda manages to break the clinch.
Panda tries to clinch but Higgins is having none of it. Higgins throws a shot from downtown. Panda moves away and avoids it. Panda tries to clinch but Higgins moves out of range. Higgins half committed to a counter leg kick. Panda throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Panda lands a slapping body shot.
Higgins gets tackled into the cage by Panda. Panda maintains the clinch. Higgins misses with a short punch on the inside. Higgins misses with some punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panda breaks the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Higgins. Higgins is looking to counter punch. Higgins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. D.D Panda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Panda moves in looking to clinch but Higgins pushes him off. Panda wants to clinch. Panda dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice sprawl there from Higgins as Panda shoots in. Lou Higgins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of D.D Panda. Panda pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Panda trying to control the position from guard on top but Higgins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Panda controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Higgins manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Higgins has Panda up against the cage in a clinch.
Higgins has a couple of punches blocked by Panda.
Higgins swings wildly with an uppercut but Panda uses good head movement to avoid it. Panda tries to stall but Higgins uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Higgins lands a left hand that snaps the head of Panda backwards. Panda trying to stall but Higgins improves his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Higgins manages to break the clinch.
Higgins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Panda. Higgins misses with a looping right. Panda moves to clinch but Higgins breaks away and Higgins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Higgins avoids the body shot from Panda.
Panda misses with a few strikes there.
Higgins looks to land a left hand but Panda moved out of range nicely. Lou Higgins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Higgins throws a leg kick that is checked and Panda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Higgins won't be happy with that. Higgins sneaks out the side door and pushes Panda away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Panda is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Higgins rather than just go for the knockout. Panda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Higgins. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lou Higgins dominated that second round. The cut man is working on D.D Panda's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Panda tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Higgins defends well and Panda ends up having to push Higgins into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Panda fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Higgins on the side of the head. Panda blocks a head kick by Higgins.
Panda takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Panda connects with a nice looking jab.
Higgins scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Higgins leaves Panda with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Higgins pivots, looking for a leg kick but Panda is out of range and Higgins settles back down. Higgins fails to land with a series of punches.
Panda tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Panda digs a good body shot into Higgins's ribs. Panda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Higgins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Higgins tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Panda wants to control the pace but Higgins is squirming around nicely. Panda controlling from the full mount. Higgins has given up his back here. Will Panda look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Higgins is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Panda is riding his opponent, not letting Higgins buck him off. Panda trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panda has good solid back control here. Panda has got his arm under Higgins's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Higgins has spun round into Panda's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Panda looking for a guillotine here but Higgins defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panda is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. D.D Panda has got the better of the ground game so far. Panda looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Higgins passes into half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Higgins decides to return to a standing position.
And that's the end of the fight! Lou Higgins showed his dominance in that final round. Well Higgins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
