Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Loris (ranked 404 p4p, 791 weight class) and Jian Zhao (ranked 54 p4p, 94 weight class). Loris misses with an uppercut. Zhao saw that one coming.

It looks like Jian Zhao has been cut.
Loris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Zhao.
Zhao cracks Loris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Zhao throws a series of strikes that have Loris backpedaling.

Zhao jabs Loris right on the nose. Loris blinks but takes it well.
Zhao looks to land a right hand but Loris moved out of range.
Zhao avoids the body shot from Loris.
Zhao tries to work over Loris's front leg with a kick but Loris checks it.
Zhao takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Loris scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Loris closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zhao's guard.
Loris wants to control from the top but Zhao keeps moving.
Zhao can't keep his opponent in guard - Loris advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Loris wants to pass the guard but Zhao is defending well.
Zhao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Loris trying to control the action but Zhao is working from the bottom.

Loris is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zhao is just riding it out for now. Loris eventually gives up the hold.
Loris passes to full mount!

Loris is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Zhao is forced to tap! Great finish!

Hugo Loris tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
