Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paavali Kontiainen (ranked 1428 p4p, 1760 weight class) and Tommy Sausagestrong (ranked 215 p4p, 258 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paavali Kontiainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Sausagestrong!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sausagestrong misses with a kick to the body
and Kontiainen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kontiainen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Tommy Sausagestrong has been cut.
Kontiainen throws a body shot but no joy.
Sausagestrong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sausagestrong missing with a left hand there. Kontiainen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kontiainen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack in the buildup to the fight.
Kontiainen scores with a spinning back kick!
Kontiainen throws a nice looking combination but Sausagestrong bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kontiainen avoids the head kick by Sausagestrong.
Sausagestrong throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Kontiainen counters with a stiff right hand.
Sausagestrong has his takedown stuffed
and Kontiainen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kontiainen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sausagestrong misses the body punch
and Kontiainen counters with a body kick that stops Sausagestrong in his tracks momentarily.

Sausagestrong throws a sloppy head kick
and Kontiainen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sausagestrong tries for a takedown but Kontiainen circles away easily
and Kontiainen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Paavali Kontiainen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sausagestrong looks winded!
Kontiainen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kontiainen throws a body shot but no joy.
Kontiainen slips under a jab.
Kontiainen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sausagestrong on the side of the head.
Kontiainen lands the left hand.
Sausagestrong closes the distance but Kontiainen moves to the side
and Kontiainen counters with a nice uppercut.
That has opened up Tommy Sausagestrong's cut even more.
Kontiainen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And Sausagestrong tries to counter it with a takedown but Kontiainen pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kontiainen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sausagestrong misses with a lunging right hand
and Kontiainen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sausagestrong thinking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kontiainen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sausagestrong moves out of range as Kontiainen throws a body kick.
Sausagestrong is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Sausagestrong sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A head kick by Sausagestrong misses
and Kontiainen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kontiainen - that will leave a mark!
Sausagestrong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kontiainen.
Sausagestrong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kontiainen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Kontiainen.
Sausagestrong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kontiainen but Kontiainen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Paavali Kontiainen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Sausagestrong.
Kontiainen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sausagestrong doesn't seem bothered though.

Sausagestrong throws a head kick but Kontiainen moves out of range.
Kontiainen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kontiainen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sausagestrong if he has to take too many more of those.
Sausagestrong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

and Kontiainen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kontiainen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The cut above Tommy Sausagestrong's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kontiainen lands a big right hand that sends Sausagestrong crashing to the mat! Kontiainen stays standing though and waves Sausagestrong back to his feet!
Sausagestrong is rocked!

Kontiainen appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Sausagestrong is still on wobbly legs! Can Kontiainen finish him?
Kontiainen weaves into range and cracks Sausagestrong right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sausagestrong goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kontiainen is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paavali Kontiainen!
A relieved looking Paavali Kontiainen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Tommy Sausagestrong stepped up to the mic, saying 'Unfortunately I lost, I am going to come back stronger than ever, I will be champ one day.'.
