Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Schotel.
Schotel connects with a single shot there.
Diamond throws the kick towards the body but Schotel avoids it.
Schotel swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Diamond gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Diamond shoots in but Schotel avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Schotel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Diamond connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Schotel scrambles back to his feet.

Diamond wants to clinch up but Schotel keeps it at a distance.
Diamond takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Diamond finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Schotel lands a big uppercut and Diamond crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Diamond looks OK. Schotel waves Diamond back to his feet!

and Schotel counters with a huge left! Diamond is in big trouble! He's backing up but Schotel isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Diamond from any more damage. A dominating finish by Schotel!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dag Schotel!
Dag Schotel seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
James Diamond was interviewed post fight and said 'Well shit I’m going to get my ass back to the gym but don’t worry I’ll be back with some big knock outs '.
