Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tsuyoi Kakuto (ranked 1326 p4p, 2238 weight class) and Aqissiac Jacira (ranked 147 p4p, 260 weight class). Kakuto comes to the cage accompanied by Gorillaz-Dirty Harry. Tsuyoi Kakuto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacira tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

We've been hearing good reports from Kakuto's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jacira misses with a hook. Kakuto ducked under it nicely.
Kakuto swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Kakuto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jacira strikes from the bottom but Kakuto takes advantage and advances to full mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jacira is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kakuto takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jacira enables Kakuto to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jacira manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jacira reaches up around Kakuto's neck trying to control. But Kakuto takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Jacira! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Jacira is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Kakuto celebrates the victory with the fans!
