Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cozad (ranked 1175 p4p, 2060 weight class) and Lino Silva (ranked 66 p4p, 102 weight class). Lino Silva told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Cozad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lino Silva!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves to clinch but Cozad breaks away
enabling Cozad to counter with a crisp jab.
Cozad throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Silva's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Cozad dives in looking to finish as Silva flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Cozad's strikes! Cozad is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Silva's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Silva was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Cozad!
