Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joanderson Ribeiro (ranked 2064 p4p, 2446 weight class) and Homas Oleman (ranked 256 p4p, 297 weight class). Ribeiro comes to the cage accompanied by Tropkillaz-Gorilla. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Homas Oleman!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oleman tries to close the distance and clinch but Ribeiro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oleman wants to clinch.
Ribeiro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oleman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ribeiro is in Oleman's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oleman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ribeiro passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ribeiro trying to control the position but Oleman is working away.
Ribeiro has an Americana. Oleman didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ribeiro is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ribeiro hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joanderson Ribeiro!
Joanderson Ribeiro bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
