Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Pauli (ranked 587 p4p, 1697 weight class) and Gigi Woerner (ranked 76 p4p, 193 weight class). Gigi Woerner will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wolfgang Pauli!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gigi Woerner!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woerner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pauli moves away.
Pauli wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Pauli takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Wolfgang Pauli has been cut.
Woerner lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Woerner lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pauli's sensitive parts.
Woerner goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Pauli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Woerner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Woerner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pauli swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Woerner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pauli steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Woerner.
Pauli tries to counter by clinching up but Woerner breaks away and moves out of range.
Woerner scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Woerner avoids the body shot from Pauli.
Woerner looks to land a left hand but Pauli moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Woerner works Pauli's body with a nice hook.
Pauli blocks a jab.
Pauli tries to counter by clinching up but Woerner breaks away and moves out of range.
Woerner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Woerner lands a big right hand that sends Pauli crashing to the mat! Woerner stays standing though and waves Pauli back to his feet!
Pauli is rocked!
Woerner lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Pauli falls backwards - clearly groggy! Woerner dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gigi Woerner!
Gigi Woerner is the new heavyweight champion!
Gigi Woerner gave a mention to Conviction in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
