PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Reynolds (ranked 4313 p4p, 4287 weight class) and Matt Classic (ranked 0 p4p, 430 weight class). Reynolds's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX- X gon' give it to ya. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Classic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reynolds.

Reynolds has closed the distance and engaged Classic in a clinch.
Reynolds stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Reynolds goes for a takedown in the clinch but Classic prevents it.

Classic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Reynolds is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Classic is controlling him.
Reynolds really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Let's hope that Classic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
