Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Hendricks (ranked 1409 p4p, 2105 weight class) and Tommy Santoro (ranked 171 p4p, 249 weight class). Hendricks's entrance music is Cowboy - Kid Rock. A fine choice. Santoro has chosen MERCURY as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Santoro!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santoro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hendricks throws out the jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Santoro! But no joy.
Hendricks throws out a loose jab but Santoro uses good head movement to avoid it.
It seemed like Santoro was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hendricks misses with a low kick.
Santoro is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Hendricks throws a big shot that misses.
Hendricks throws out a leg kick but Santoro moves out of range and Hendricks only half commits.
Santoro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hendricks throws a poor cross that misses
and Santoro counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hendricks! Santoro lets Hendricks back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Hunter Hendricks has been cut.
Santoro lands a big head kick that sends Hendricks to the canvas! Santoro follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tommy Santoro!
