Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Clay (ranked 847 p4p, 1069 weight class) and Mr Knuckles (ranked 116 p4p, 150 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Knuckles! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clay misses with a double jab
and Knuckles counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Knuckles seems to be working for a kimura but Clay defends the submission attempt. Clay is looking for a sweep. Knuckles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Clay slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Clay controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knuckles trying to control but Clay is working from the bottom. Clay controlling Knuckles's posture. Knuckles trying to control the position from guard on top but Clay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knuckles postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Knuckles stands up over Clay, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Clay trying to control the position here. Knuckles is stalling in the full guard. Clay preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Clay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Clay pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Clay throws a big shot that misses. Andrew Clay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Clay takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Knuckles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Clay counter with a right hand.
It looks like Mr Knuckles has been cut. A jab from Clay finds it's way through Knuckles's defenses. Knuckles scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Knuckles throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Clay stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Knuckles scores with a nice head shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A little jabbing left from Knuckles on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Knuckles has a takedown stuffed. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Knuckles. Knuckles scores with a jab. Clay acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Knuckles moves away from the strike by Clay. Nice uppercut there from Clay. Clay stuns Knuckles with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Knuckles with a poor takedown and Clay counters with a lovely straight right hand! Andrew Clay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Knuckles. Knuckles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clay tries to avoid it but Knuckles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clay to the ground. Clay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Clay is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Clay. Knuckles does a little dance to reset his feet. Knuckles tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Mr Knuckles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay throws a right hand that misses
enabling Knuckles to counter with a crisp jab. Clay fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Knuckles to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Knuckles looks to clinch but Clay throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Knuckles taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
