Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ghost Chai (ranked 902 p4p, 1490 weight class) and Egor Kuznecov (ranked 106 p4p, 176 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ghost Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egor Kuznecov!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuznecov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chai sprawls well initially but Kuznecov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Chai's coaches at Master Chai's Dojo have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Chai counters with a crisp one two that drops Kuznecov! Chai thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kuznecov to his feet! Kuznecov is in big trouble!

Chai throws a jab but it's blocked by Kuznecov.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

After winning the bout, Ghost Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
