Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 1168 p4p, 1684 weight class) and Nikos Balopoulos (ranked 153 p4p, 210 weight class). Nikos Balopoulos is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikos Balopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balopoulos throws a jab but it's blocked by Case.
Case avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Balopoulos throws out a loose jab but Case uses good head movement to avoid it.
Case slips a straight right by Balopoulos.
Balopoulos shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Balopoulos is keen to just control but Case is a slippery customer.
Case is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Balopoulos pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Balopoulos looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Case with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Case is pressing down on Balopoulos's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Case controls Balopoulos momentarily but Balopoulos frees himself.

Case can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Balopoulos controls the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Case dives in for a single leg takedown but Balopoulos sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Well Balopoulos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
