Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sigurd Ragnarsson (ranked 1823 p4p, 1596 weight class) and Will Rock Jr (ranked 223 p4p, 205 weight class). Ragnarsson comes to the cage accompanied by Twilight of the Thunder God. Will Rock Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sigurd Ragnarsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Rock Jr!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock Jr leaves Ragnarsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rock Jr swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rock Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ragnarsson. That did some damage!
Rock Jr avoids the body shot from Ragnarsson.
A slow jab from Ragnarsson misses its intended target.
Rock Jr wants to counter with a clinch but Ragnarsson pushes him away.
Rock Jr connects with the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragnarsson misses with a takedown attempt - Rock Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ragnarsson jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ragnarsson misses with an uppercut
and Rock Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ragnarsson ducks right into an uppercut from Rock Jr.
Ragnarsson is rocked!

and Rock Jr counters by moving into the clinch.
Oh Ragnarsson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sigurd Ragnarsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rock Jr dips a shoulder and cracks Ragnarsson with a mighty uppercut! Ragnarsson falls back against the cage and Rock Jr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Ragnarsson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rock Jr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Rock Jr!
Will Rock Jr decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
