Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henri Laulhere!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Fish!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fish wants it to stay on the feet.
Laulhere shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Laulhere takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nice straight punches there by Fish. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fish.

Laulhere shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fish napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Fish keeps Laulhere under control for a moment.
Fish is looking to reverse the position.
Fish is trying to control Laulhere's posture but Laulhere avoids it.
Laulhere is looking to take a break and control but Fish is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Fish is trying to escape the position but Laulhere is controlling the position.
Fish is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Laulhere seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fish for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fish is trying to control the position but Laulhere postures up.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laulhere goes for a double leg but Fish avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fish continues to drive forward.
Fish replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Laulhere blocks it well.
Fish lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Laulhere backwards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Henri Laulhere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fish scores with a nice strike.

Fish lands a big head kick that sends Laulhere tumbling to the mat! Fish takes a step backwards and waves Laulhere back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Laulhere is rocked!

It looks like Henri Laulhere has been cut.

Fish feints a jab and as Laulhere dips his head, Fish unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Laulhere right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Laulhere falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Fish smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Steve Fish!
