The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia throws a right and a left that Dankovich avoids nicely.
It seemed like Dankovich was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Garcia shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dankovich sprawls well. Dankovich wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Garcia gets slowly back to his feet.
Dankovich throws out a counter right but Garcia avoids it with no problem.
Garcia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dankovich connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Gabe Garcia has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia darts in looking for a takedown but Dankovich gets double underhooks and turns Garcia into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabe Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dankovich breaks from the clinch.
Dankovich connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Garcia takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Garcia shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dankovich defends it nicely.
Gabe Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dankovich drops Garcia with a naaaaasty hook - Garcia is in real trouble here! Dankovich dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
