Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Meril! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Meril sees it coming and avoids it easily. Meril let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meril is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Jones misses with a right hand and Meril counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Meril at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jake Jones. Well Jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
