Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aziz Mehamedov (ranked 1778 p4p, 2979 weight class) and Glass Hugo (ranked 155 p4p, 250 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Aziz Mehamedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glass Hugo!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo gets caught flat footed, as Mehamedov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mehamedov throws a big right hand that misses.
Mehamedov won't allow Hugo to get back to his feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hugo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mehamedov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hugo manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Mehamedov keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mehamedov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
