The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dgebuadze ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kuznetsov moves away.

Kuznetsov shoots in and gets a takedown into Dgebuadze's guard.

Dgebuadze is trying to keep Kuznetsov in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dgebuadze throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kuznetsov escapes and throws Dgebuadze's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Dgebuadze is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dgebuadze looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Dgebuadze really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kuznetsov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dgebuadze's guard.
Dgebuadze is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kuznetsov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dgebuadze is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kuznetsov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dgebuadze's body to avoid the submission. Dgebuadze has instead reached around Kuznetsov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dgebuadze arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
