Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balopoulos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Adams pushes Balopoulos up against the cage in a clinch.

Balopoulos wants to take the fight to the mat but Adams manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Balopoulos wants the takedown. Adams is fighting it off but Balopoulos persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Adams 's guard against the cage.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Balopoulos working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Balopoulos tries to avoid it but Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Balopoulos to the ground. Balopoulos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
