Kaafjord comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Deane has chosen Cinderella Man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Tungsten Kaafjord could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Calvin Deane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Deane!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaafjord closes the distance and clinches.

Deane has clasped his hands together around Kaafjord's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Kaafjord is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Deane prevents Kaafjord from improving his position.
Kaafjord is working hard here to advance position.
Deane is looking to take a break and control but Kaafjord is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kaafjord has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Deane is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deane landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Deane working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Kaafjord wants to improve his position but Deane is controlling well.
Deane trying to control the action but Kaafjord is working from the bottom.
Kaafjord tries to get to full guard but Deane has control of the leg.
Deane seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaafjord wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deane is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Deane looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kaafjord with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

It looks like Tungsten Kaafjord has been cut.
Deane drops an elbow to the side of Kaafjord's head.

Kaafjord is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Deane is tapping! Great win for Kaafjord!
