Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klayton King (ranked 1463 p4p, 3162 weight class) and Fedor Emperor (ranked 219 p4p, 403 weight class). Emperor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enae Volare Mezzo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emperor was well out of range. Poor timing from King.
Emperor lands a nice looking body shot.
King swings for the body but Emperor moves out of range.
King misses with an uppercut
and Emperor counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Emperor throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
King tried to counter with a leg kick but Emperor avoided it.
Emperor misses with a hook
and King counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
King feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Emperors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Emperor takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Fedor Emperor has been cut.
King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
King throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Emperor throws a counter combo.
King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
King went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Emperor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've been told by King's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Emperor misses with a wild body shot.
King throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and King takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Emperor lands with a hook. King tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
King slips under a jab from Emperor.
A telegraphed right hand from Emperor misses the target.
King lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Emperor backs up against the cage.
Emperor looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
King scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Emperor is rocked!
King cracks Emperor with a hook to the temple - Emperor is on wobbly legs here! King swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Emperor falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! King wins by TKO!
