Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pax Augustus (ranked 1861 p4p, 1091 weight class) and Huntti Mfer (ranked 252 p4p, 153 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mfer scores with a shot to the body.
Mfer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mfer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Augustus. Augustus circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mfer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Augustus missing with a left hand there. Mfer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pax Augustus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Augustus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Augustus throws a punch but it's blocked by Mfer.

Augustus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mfer has him pressed against the cage.
Mfer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
It looks like Pax Augustus has been cut.
Mfer gets through Augustus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Oh Augustus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mfer has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Augustus seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Mfer can turn it around.

Mfer will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Augustus up against the cage.

Mfer lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Augustus to his knees! Mfer keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
