The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawiwasulu throws a leg kick but Mad Onion moved away.
Kawiwasulu's coach down at Alpha Brasil was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kawiwasulu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mad Onion lands a nice shot that snaps Kawiwasulu's head back.

and Kawiwasulu counters by moving into the clinch.
Kawiwasulu dodges an elbow strike from Mad Onion.
Kawiwasulu goes for a takedown attempt but Mad Onion pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
