Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Tavares (ranked 3760 p4p, 5328 weight class) and Roy Lansky (ranked 238 p4p, 291 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesus Tavares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Lansky! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tavares lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lansky will feel that in the morning. Tavares keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lansky throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lansky misses with a hook. Tavares ducked under it nicely. Tavares moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Tavares misses with a shot to the body and Lansky counters with a nice uppercut. Tavares lands an overhand right. Lansky takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tavares looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Tavares uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lansky. Tavares fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lansky manages to avoid it. Lansky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tavares. A good leg kick by Tavares. Lansky moves away from the strike by Tavares.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tavares lunges at Lansky with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lansky's hand. Lansky takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A solid leg kick lands there for Tavares.
Lansky missing with a left hand there. Tavares was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lansky throws out a loose jab but Tavares uses good head movement to avoid it. Tavares stuns Lansky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Tavares swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lansky throws a jab when Tavares was well out of range. Tavares was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Tavares punishes Lansky's body with a nice straight punch. Lansky avoids the body shot from Tavares.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tavares bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lansky is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Tavares connects with an inside leg kick. Lansky takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Tavares drops Lansky with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Lansky! Tavares dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesus Tavares! A very excited looking Jesus Tavares made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
