PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Felix Suarez (ranked 1542 p4p, 2119 weight class) and Kree P Krawlee (ranked 202 p4p, 267 weight class). Suarez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mexican Sun. Krawlee has chosen Sail as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Felix Suarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kree P Krawlee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suarez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Suarez scores with a jab.

Suarez rushes Krawlee and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Krawlee breaks the clinch.
Krawlee changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Krawlee cracks a nice hook into Suarez's ribs.
Suarez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Krawlee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A looping hook to the body misses from Krawlee. Suarez does a little dance to reset his feet.

Suarez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Krawlee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Krawlee is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Suarez off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
