Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Caleb DeCoteau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Serra!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra scores with a jab.
Serra misses with a left hand
and DeCoteau counters with a left to the body.
Serra throws a poor cross that misses
and DeCoteau counters with a nice uppercut.
DeCoteau walks into a left hand.
DeCoteau uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Serra.
DeCoteau was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Serra throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

DeCoteau shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. DeCoteau showed some decent athleticism there.
Serra trying to hold on to DeCoteau's head to control him but DeCoteau postures up.
DeCoteau works his way into side control.
Serra is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked DeCoteau off and has taken his back!

Serra is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but DeCoteau has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
You can see the frustration on DeCoteau's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
