Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adams Menday (ranked 165 p4p, 169 weight class) and Anthony Ochoa (ranked 24 p4p, 26 weight class). Ochoa has chosen Gang Signs by The Game as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adams Menday! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 31 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Ochoa! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menday shoots in but Ochoa avoids the takedown attempt easily. A cross from Menday lands. Menday jabs Ochoa to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ochoa is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Menday lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Menday misses the shot to the body. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ochoa! But no joy. Menday throws the left hand but Ochoa avoids the punch easily. Menday throws a right hand that misses
and Ochoa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Menday swings for the body but Ochoa moves out of range.

Ochoa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A lazy left from Menday finds it's target.

A little jabbing left from Ochoa on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ochoa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Menday throws out the jab. It seemed like Ochoa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ochoa throws a hook to the side of Menday's head but Menday sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Menday feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Menday throwing strikes but missing. Menday is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ochoa can do to turn this around? Menday lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
