Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rufino Gracie (ranked 1608 p4p, 3664 weight class) and Klay Dee (ranked 119 p4p, 230 weight class). Dee comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Death Patrol by Destroyer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rufino Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 40 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klay Dee! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dee.
Gracie feinted there with a counter leg kick. Gracie keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dee. A shot to the body from Dee misses and Gracie counters with a straight right hand. Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Dee misses with a double jab
and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dee throws a shot to the body.

enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab. Gracie looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dee misses with a series of wild punches.
It looked like Gracie was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dee. Dee gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Gracie throws a big elbow that misses. Gracie loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Dee is keeping the position. Gracie postures up in Dee's guard and throws a big left but Dee blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control from the top but Dee keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie scoring with punches to the head and body. Gracie sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dee keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Gracie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Gracie with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A head kick by Dee misses and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand. Dee ducks under a wild hook from Gracie. Dee takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Gracie rushes Dee with punches - Dee moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Dee goes down! Gracie follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rufino Gracie! A relieved looking Rufino Gracie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
